Inspired but not necessarily guided or defined by the Occupy Wall Street Movement, Point Nine Nine exists as a forum for those who believe the welfare of 99% percent of the American people is best served by focused political action. At its genesis the forum exists to explore methods of erasing corporate personhood, repealing Citizens United, and adjustment of the current Federal Income Tax Code.The formation of the Point Nine Nine non-profit 527 group (.99 Avocacy Fund) is intended to lend the full weight of our resources and supporters to furthering the cause of ballot initiatives and constitutional amendments that serve to re-establish the power of the individual voter in electoral politics and level the economic playing field for all Americans.
